Even though you're in a group, the trainer is still able to provide tailored advice and adjustments based on each person’s fitness level and goals. It’s much more hands-on than a regular group class, as the trainer can give individualized feedback during the session.
These classes usually have a specific focus, such as strength training, HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training), circuit training, functional fitness, or even sports performance. The workouts are structured but can be adapted for different levels within the same class, so everyone gets the challenge they need.
The small group dynamic fosters a sense of community and camaraderie, which can be motivating for participants. With fewer people than in a large class, there’s more of a team mentality, where everyone encourages each other to push through tough workouts. It also helps with accountability since you get to know the other participants and the trainer.
